About Max

The journey so far...

Max Wrigley was born and grew up in the North East of England. He found a love for writing stories at a young age, though nothing came of it. He later revisited his passion at the age of 19 by having a friendship with an author. 

Max graduated from the University of East Anglia with a Diploma of Higher Education in Creative Writing and English Literature in 2024 and is now studying at Manchester Metropolitan University for a BA (Hons) in Creative Writing.

He has had work published in anthologies; done editorial work alongside his studies, and also written articles for the University of East Anglia's award-winning student newspaper, Concrete.

His ambition is to publish books that have underlying meanings connected to ongoing issues that people experience. Max's 2023 Dissertation forms the opening of his novel in progress.

His début children's book was published in October 2023, and he is currently working on his fourth children's book while books two and three (a two-book series) are with his illustrator.
